着物は別名「呉服」とも呼ばれ、呉服は、日本に織物や染色の技術を伝えたという伝説（クレハとアヤハの織姫伝説）が由来となっています。

きっかけは、祖母が何十年も大切にしてきた着物を私が譲り受けたことでした。

現代の日本において着物は、主に冠婚葬祭などの特別な行事で着用され、日常での利用は多くありません。日本には約8億点もの着物が着られずに保管されていると言われています。

我々は、その様な伝統的でデザイン性に富んだ着物に新たな息吹を与え、日本の伝統の発信や地球環境に配慮した取り組みを行っていきます。

The inspiration came when I inherited kimonos that my grandmother had cherished for decades.

In modern Japan, kimonos are mainly worn for special occasions such as weddings and funerals, and are not often used in daily life. It is said that around 800 million kimonos are stored unused across Japan.

We aim to breathe new life into these traditional and beautifully designed kimonos, sharing Japanese tradition and contributing to environmental sustainability.
